Dean Hirtle

Senior Vice President

Dean Hirtle | Senior Vice President

With over 30 combined years as an Executive Leader in the Retail Environment, Dean has held executive leadership positions with companies like Timberland, Reebok, and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Dean’s wealth of knowledge in managing high-volume businesses — as well as large teams — combined with a huge passion for sports, made his goal clear: to open up his own recreation facility for kids and adults to enjoy playing sports.

While growing up in Shrewsbury, MA, Dean attended Shrewsbury High School (class of 1986) and then went on to Dean College (class of 1988), graduating with a Sports Management Degree. While captaining each team, he led both his high school and college basketball teams to playoff competitions each of the years he played.

Dean was also very active in the local community while attending college; he was a Resident Assistant (RA) of the Athletic dorm and an Orientation Leader, as well as participated in a number of different programs throughout the school year.

With his extensive business knowledge of running many multimillion-dollar businesses throughout his long career, he met with his business partner to open his dream facility: Game On Sports and Performance Center. After 5 challenging years of building from the ground up, Game On Fitchburg was open for finally business and booming!

When asked “what is the best part of working at Game On?” Dean’s response was “the people and seeing so many kids and adults playing sports in a brand new state-of-the-art sports complex! We have a phenomenal staff that really cares about our facility and our guests and that’s what is most important to me.”
